Good movie: Open Water

tn3270Recently, I got around to watching Open Water (out on DVD). It was very good and quite a different take on the shark theme than Jaws. The acting and photography are great, and the fact that it is loosely based on a real event makes it even creepier. Also, the fact that its an independent movie made on a small budget is encouraging. It great to see these independent low budget flicks do well, like last year's Primer and "the Blair Witch Project" a few years back.
