Blast from the past...

In the office today, a coworker was using a software product for which I have been a developer for about 19 years, on and off. He asked me a question on a poorly worded/confusing error message. After answering his question, and agreeing what a poor message it was, I had a sad realization: I added that confusing message to the system in about 1986! Reminded me of the 3 stooges routine: "What idiot did that?... Oh, I did". At any rate, I confessed it was my sin, and we had a good laugh about it.
