1) A coworker had Jury duty today, so I was surprised when he showed up at work at his normal morning time. It turns out when he called the number last night to verify that he had to come, they told him he did not have to. This is the first time I have ever heard of someone being told not to come when they called. I confess I thought they did that to give you false hope, but always made you come in. I was wrong.

2) Think I have found it, but I had a timing related issue with code today and it was exhibiting the programming classic: Run it under the debugger: works every time. Debugger slows things down enough to hide the problem. Turn off the debugger, the problem happens.
