Life Change

As of next month, I am stopping full-time employment and starting to work as a part time consultant. Initially, I will be doing some consulting work my current employer, and will do other consulting work as time and opportunity permit.

This is a huge life change for me after 25+ years in the software development biz in various individual contributor and management roles, often with crazy hours (especially when I was younger/stupider). Even though my current job is a good one, I simply have had enough. It is a crazy business.

Am going to devote more time to some volunteer web work I have been doing, and some personal projects.
