tn3270Was channel surfing and came across Tim Burton's "Ed Wood". Just had to take a break and watch it for a while. I saw this several years ago, and remembered liking it, but forgot how truly good it is. Great cast: Johnny Depp (always good), and Martin Landau who does Bela Lugosi better than Bela Lugosi did. Somehow Landau was more sympathetic than the real Lugosi.
The real Ed Wood has the distinction for making the worst movie ever made (Plan 9 from Outer Space); I once tried to watch it just to see how bad it was, but could not sit through it. Its really that bad. The making of that movie is covered in "Ed Wood".
I also liked Edward Scissorhands from Burton and Depp.
