A few weeks ago, I picked up "Dragons Lair 20th anniversary edition". More recently, I got around to playing it. Its great and is a much better port than the CD version that was released a few years back; it is just like playing it in the Arcade. The animation is great. It also has an extras section where each scene is simply played and both the good and bad outcome are shown. It has aged very well and I really laughed my head off at it. Its very different than newer games in that you cannot directly control the character but only influence his moves (use sword, change direction, move away). This is a much cheaper way of playing than dumping quarters into one at an arcade. You can go through his allocated 3 lives very quickly, especially when learning. The only downside is that the fact the game is now 20 years old is a bit troubling. I am getting old.
