A good and funny book
Jun. 20th, 2005 07:21 pmRecently, I finished reading In Search of Stupidity: Over 20 Years of High-Tech Marketing Disasters by Merrill R. Chapman. A lot of this book covers years I was working in the software biz so it really hit the mark with me. I remember the OS/2 fiascoes and the IBM PC Junior. Some of his examples of bad marketing collateral were hysterical. It also has a foreword by and an interview with Joel Spolksy of Joel on Software. Highly recommended as an enjoyable light read.
