Movie: F.I.S.T.

F.I.S.T. starring Sylvester Stallone has been showing recently on cable. I had seen it when it first came out in 78 and had not thought about it in years. It is about organized labor, is very loosely based on the Jimmy Hoffa/Teamsters story, and is a pretty good character study of someone who starts out with good intentions ending up being corrupted. As I recall, it did not do too well, possibly because it came out after "Rocky" and people did not expect that type of a role for Stallone, who was very good in it. Worth watching.
