Am listening to Gillian Glover, whose CD (Red Handed) I bought from Amazon this week. Her music is great, it is sort of a mix of folk/rock/pop/blues. She has a nice bluesy voice. The backup musicians are on the CD are great as well.
It was an odd way, that I found out about her. I'm a 70s rock fan and like many Deep Purple albums of that era (In Rock, Live in Japan). Gillian Glover is the daughter of Roger Glover, longtime bass player for Deep Purple. I found a link to her site from a Deep Purple page, and liked the samples. Her music could not be more different from 70s rock, but that's how I found it.
