Late Xmas afternoon 2003

tn3270Got back this afternoon after about a day and a half at my mother's and a relative's for assorted Christmas type stuff. It was a nice Christmas, although I definitely took part in the sin of gluttony today. Too much good food....
As an added bonus, I have some particularly obnoxious, intolerant, hateful relatives who were not able to make it this year due to schedule conflicts. This was great :); essentially, I got to spend the holidays with only my nice relatives which is not often the case. I am on a lucky streak here. Last year, the same bunch of relatives could not come due to the snowstorm on Christmas :). It makes a huge difference if unpleasant people are not present at the holidays. I had the nicest Christmas in ages.
On an unrelated note, I really missed connectivity and email. I know this is silly since it was only a couple of days, and I had nothing urgent to do on-line. However, especially since I got the fast internet connection at home, I have grown used to being able to do email and surf the web pretty much whenever I want. Stayed overnight at my moms last night, which was nice, but I missed the connectivity ...
