I saw a reference to a museum in email today, and it made me remember this (it happened in 2002). I was working at a company in downtown Boston (a pretty good job), that sadly got bought by an evil company from the western burbs (Westboro). It was a bad experience and I soon left. However, before I left, they closed down the office of the acquired Boston company and made everyone start working in Westboro. Needless to say, people who were used to working in town (near downtown Xing) were not happy. In a largely futile attempt to improve morale they sent out a memo to the relocated employees about things to do in the western burbs. It had listings of restaurants and stores but also mentioned as a highlight the American Sanitary Plumbing Museum. I guess they thought being near the toilet museum made up for leaving boston. Believe it or not, you can find it on the web:
